The function of each filter in Karofi hot and cold RO water purifier KAD-L56

1.1. RO filtration system is composed of 3 main parts:

• Pre-filter: Smax Pro V filter technology
• RO membrane: Smax RO filter technology
• Functional filters: Smax Nano filter technology

1.2. Smax Pro filter technology includes:

• SMAX Pro V 1 – Microfiltration ungraded connect technology, helps to remove impurities, dirt, soil, dirt, mud, and algae over 5 microns in size and mixed in water used daily.
• Smax Pro V 2: It consists of a microfiltration membrane on the outside, composed of interconnected microfiber chains of small size, combined with activated carbon on the inside.
• SMAX Pro V 3 – Multi-point microfiltration ungraded connect technology; removes residues, dirt, sand, grit, mud, algae, and solids over 1 micron in size in used water.

1.3. Smax RO filter technology

USA Smax RO PURIFIM membrane is the heart of the water purifier, which helps to remove more than 99% of chlorine, oil, viruses, bacteria, amoeba, arsenic, metal ions, and harmful substances in water.

1.4. Smax Nano filter technology includes:

• Mineral filter: supplements minerals and helps raise pH, supports neutralization of residual acids
• Alkaline ORP Filter: reduce ORP of water and raise water pH, assist in neutralizing residual acid.
• Hydrogen Filter: Additional Hydrogen supports the reduction of oxidants and harmful radicals in the body.
• Tourmaline Filter: creates negative ions beneficial to the body and activates water to help the body easily absorb.

The recommended usage period for the Smax Pro V Filter set is up to 12 months.

For USA RO membrane: the recommended use time is 24 – 36 months.

The recommended usage time for the Smax Nano Filter set is up to 12 months.

The recommended usage period for a high-performance Smax Functional Filter is up to 12 months.
